Osteopathic treatment of infants and young children with disabilities and cognitive disorders

With Philippe Druelle D.O.

Osteopathy for infants and young children

Philippe Druelle will be giving an advanced osteopathic course at SICO focusing on the practical aspects of treating young children with neuro-sensitivo motor delays, cognitive disorders, disabilities, language and learning delays and especially children with cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, victims of physical and emotional violence and difficult births.

This course will enable you to summarise and synthesise your knowledge by enriching it with new effective methods, to treat the causes, to establish your priorities and your treatment plan according to the essential needs of each child.

We will show techniques from Sutherland on fluid dynamics and cerebral vascularisation, from Viola Frymann on the treatment of premature babies and babies with birth defects, from Beryl Arbuckle on membrane dynamics and from Charlotte Waever on the concept of the 3 cranial vertebrae.  This programme summarises the essential techniques for providing relief to these children, as well as visceral techniques related to cranial lesions.

Biography

Philippe Druelle has been teaching and practising paediatric osteopathy for 40 years and has prepared this course especially for SICOs so that you can increase your effectiveness and relieve children.  The dynamics of growth are an asset in helping these children to regain their health and lead happier, more functional lives.
