GENERAL OBJECTIVES 
You learn different pathologies that can affect the nervous system and the clinical signs that are related in order to comprehend the origin of the pathologies and you will be able to refer properly in case of an emergency

LEARNING OUTCOMES 

By the end of this module you will be able to:

  • understand  the disorders of function of the cranial nerves, the limbs and trunk, the speech disorders, the state of consciousness and unconsciousness, epilepsy, migraine and headaches, its symptoms and signs
  • supply information about hydrocephalus, its signs and symptoms and its repercussions
  • display knowledge regarding an intracranial abscess, and its signs and symptoms
  • identify the different types of brain injuries, their signs and symptoms
  • understand:

·     the different extrapyramidal syndromes, their signs and symptoms

·     the disorders of the hypothalamus, their signs and symptoms

·     the different disorders of the spinal cord, their signs and symptoms

·     the different disorders of the muscle, their signs and symptoms

·     the different types of infections involving the central nervous system, their signs and symptoms

·     the different diffuse and systemic disorders affecting the central nervous system, their signs and symptoms

Laurie Chicha-Gaudimier, PhD is an Osteopath, Craniosacral Therapist and certified in Neurobiofeedback
